This really is a bad movie. Whew! No redeeming qualities whatsoever.

No, dear reverend dr, they were not. You are confusing the Governator with Sly Stallone. I remember a Rolling Stone interview with Sylvester in which their foyer was described as having a life-sized goldtone sculpture of a nude Sly and nude Brigitte facing each other. The piece de resistance? With the flip of a switch, water came out of his and her hands in little sprays, cascading over them. Cute, huh?

Red Sonja was my first and only red-headed-mullet crush.

The best part of the movie comes when they show the same shot of a castle blowing up at least four times.

holy shit, I'd just watched this as part of my "comic book films from before the 2000s" schtick.

Demolition Man? I personally think that that is one of the great under-rated works of sci-fi genius of the last twenty years.

Be well John Spartan!

Red Sonja is the greatest bad movie ever. Spoiler for the ending: do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.
