We have a collection of local Arab American authors reading at Seattle Public Library tonight, an uptight Seattleite in Greenwood, and three other events with two readers:

Hugo House is hosting Frances McCue and Mary Randlett tonight. The Car That Brought You Here Still Runs is a photographic travel book about McCue's love affair with the ghost of Richard Hugo.

It's the conclusion of Pilot Books' Small Press Book Fest tonight, and things conclude with a bang: Popular Stranger contributor Tao Lin will read twice at the tiny bookstore today. At noon, he hosts something called "Small Press Academy," which is a Q&A about Lin's job as a publisher of his own small press. At 6 pm, Tao Lin will make a second appearance at Pilot Books, put on his author hat* and do a reading. Both of these are the readings of the day.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
