Celeb Happy Birthday, Glenn Close!

Did you know she can hold 42 baby carrots in her mouth? I did not, until I was set on the path of discovery by this morning's WOW Report.

We had this contest in my office with Dum-Dum lollipops, when we had literally hundreds that we needed to get rid of. I won, with twenty-six Dum-Dums. (The candy had to be attached to the sticks, and the sticks could be sticking out of your mouth, but the candy had to be in.)

Your jaw feels WEIRDLY AWESOME after a stunt like this. It hurts but in a "Hey, I'm the sort of person who can fit twenty-six Dum-Dums in my mouth" sort of way. The pictures of us doing it (we called the game Dum Shove) are just as flattering as that one of Glenn.

She also just had her genome sequenced, in part because her family has a history of mental illness. I'm sure there's no connection to the carrots.
