That Irish stick that went missing has been found.

From the press release:

An anonymous caller notified The Society of the Friends of St. Patrick that he has information on the whereabouts of Seattle’s missing 150-year-old shillelagh and that its return in “imminent.”

...In a phone message to the Irish Heritage Club’s Irish Week hotline late Thursday, the caller indicated that the return would take place promptly at 7 p.m., Friday, March 12 on Fourth Avenue — in front of the west entrance to city hall in downtown Seattle.

What a boon for the city. The Society of the Friends of St. Patrick is remarkably talented at recovering its missing stick, perhaps next they should try their hand at missing children.
