Re: Today in WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!?!?!

Posted by on Mon, Mar 8, 2010 at 2:28 PM

Remember the Queen Anne residents who were up in arms about the undesirable, non-family-friendly mini-mart open until the unwholesome hour of 9 p.m., selling demon liquor and cigarettes NEAR THE CHILDREN!?!?!

Then remember how the mini-mart took down the beer and cigarettes signs?

Now someone has given the mini-mart the Queen Anne secret password. (Then the correct spelling of the secret password.)

I hope the grocery beverages are local and seasonal.

Thanks, Rob.

Now it's totally clear to the casual observer that the mini mart is trafficking in little children. At first I was not sure, but NOW well well it's perfectly clear.

"Come here little girl, would you like an organic ice cream cone (code for beer) or an organic cup of coffee (code for cigarette)?" And then BAM the child is snatched and sold.

They really need to open a nice laid-back family-friendly coffee/MJ store there.

Just make sure they offer clean vaporizers.

And the NIMBY neighbors are still up in arms against it. True story!

See? I keep telling you people to stop having children because it turns you into horrible demon beasts. But do you listen? NO!

Excellent letter spacing on that third one. Way to class it up.

@11, that's about how I feel, too. Somewhere in my teens I looked around and realized that becoming parents turned people into assholes. Not even seeing friends and relatives become parents without becoming afraid of everything in the world has changed my mind.
Remember, they are supposed to be adults one day, which is more important to you, that they grow up to be strong and able to think for themselves, or that they grow up to be exactly what you want them to be?
Damn, I should have gotten that vasectomy while I had insurance.

I only use locally sourced organic coffee beans.

My coffee tastes shitty, but at least it keeps the local indigent servants employed.

Go team Minimart. You and your or(g)anic coffee will win over the yuppies in no time.

Hey, this is why QA is a nice neighborhood and not a shit hole like the Rainier Valley. Come on whiteys at Slog, we know once you get real jobs you'll be moving to the great white north. It's the nesting ground for insecure liberals who find anything south of Madison Park too 'ghetto'.
