Reading Today: Readers, Clothed and Unclothed

We have a collection of based-on-true stories about weird people who live in condos, a book about gardening, and then two other readings tonight.

Stacey Levine reads at Pilot Books tonight. Here is why you should care about Stacey Levine. She is our current reigning Genius of literature, and she is a great reader of her own work. She even has a split single on Kill Rock Stars.

And at Oddfellows Hall, there's an event titled Naked Female Earthlings Reading Science Fiction! Readers including Polly Wood, Jesse Belle-Jones,Violet Tendencies, and Vienna La Rouge will read science fiction stories by Ray Bradbury, Octavia Butler, and others "wearing antennae, Starfleet Communicator badges, and little else!"

I'm guessing the one event will probably not cannibalize the attendees of the other.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
