The woman behind the Fair Pay Act is in town today—and speaking at the Westin at noon, where tickets can be purchased at the door. Happily, this gives me yet another opportunity to say that Lilly Ledbetter, hero of the fight against pay discrimination, also happens to have the best voice in politics. Charlie Rangel, who we've been hearing a lot from of late, is a close second—the former Ways and Means Committee Chairman always sounds like he's gargling with gold coins he "happened to misplace" in his throat. But he's still no Ledbetter:
