I'm with you, Fifty-Two-Eighty, but I haven't actually seen either a $50 bill (or a $100) in a few years. If the GOPpers want the gipper on money so bad, I say put him on the penny, mint a couple hundred, then eliminate the pesky coin completely.

Come to think of it, Rob, I'm not sure I can remember the last time I saw a $50 or a hundred either. Who walks around with that kind of cash in this day and age?

I still don't want that fucker on my money, though.

Interesting little bit of trivia re: the DADT report. Joe Lieberman was one of the cosponsors of a bill to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation. Joe Lieberman!

I recommend we put Ron Paul on the $50 bill.

Then it will burn up when exposed to sunlight, solving our fiscal crisis.

If they knock down the brewery, this city's had it. We're Phoenix, we're San Jose. Culture matters; memory matters.

Collectivism = Socialism, Communism, Progressivism, National Socialism,
Individualism = Traditional Liberalism (now called Conservatism), Libertarianism, Capitalism

Individualism = Man is born with rights (whether bestowed by God, etc)
Collectivism = Man gets his rights from the State, thus they can be taken away.

Individualism = Individual Pursuit of Happiness
Collectivism = Collective Pursuit of Equality in Everything, for Everyone [except the leaders of course]

Can't we, as a nation, compromise with the Reaganites by and just re-name ceptic tanks "Reagans"?

That's nice, Jason @7. Now, before your Mommy wants her computer back, maybe you should realize that neither of those two ideals has ever existed in practice, and never will.

TAJ: I love it!

Couldn't they have a (minus) -50 dollar bill, seems more fitting.

@3,

The few times I get stuck with one of those bills, my first thought is: Fuck! How/where am I supposed to break this? Large bills are a pain in the ass.

@9 --- That was funny 5280

I hate fundamentalists. The world works in shades and nuance much more than constant black-and-white.

@7 You forgot:

Authoritarianism = Soviet-style "Communism", Nazism, Fascism, Religious-law, and American-style coups leading to false elections.

Where the fork were these people when BushCo. was forking over BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to fight a wholly illegal war in Iraq? Kee-rist.
