If I were the First Lady, I'd be putting 'we shall overcome' stickers on the President's smokes.
Or sending regularly scheduled texts: "You can do better at kicking the habit than Laura Bush, can't you?"
I wonder if he'd respond to a mail-in campaign of letters sent by people who lost their parents too early to smoking-related diseases. I wonder if he'd tell the public in a SotU address how much his habit costs, and how many smokers there are in the US, and how much America can expect to pay for smokers' healthcare costs under public health care.

His doctor also told him he should reduce his alcohol intake. With the way his polling numbers are falling, and with a record hard traditionalist landslide looming in November, i don't blame him for hitting the bottle.
