The Stranger Is Looking for a News Intern!

All good things must come to an end, and this means that The Stranger news department is purging all of its current interns—there's two of us. This is your chance!

Do you love working your ass off for free? Can you sit through hours upon hours of reading monotonous, but sometimes interesting, police reports, and still be conscious enough to write a Slog post about it? Oh, that's right, you get to write on Slog. How wicked awesome is that? Also, you get to mull over spreadsheets, do miscellaneous research, and run occasional errands about town.

If you are interested in doing all of this and more, and you can write, send your resume, some writing samples (hopefully you have some), and a brief statement telling us why you should be the one to kick my ass out on the curb. The position begins March 17 and runs for about three months. The qualified candidate is available for a few hours in a row at least three days a week, during regular working hours.

Send all the information over HERE.
