Police said the Danbury youth counselor accused of sexually abusing several young men admitted having oral sex with at least one of his alleged victims but insisted he wasn't gay and was saving himself for marriage. Troy Grant, a minister and former executive director of the Pathways Danbury program for at-risk youth, told investigators he had consensual sexual activity with a 16-year-old boy whose aunt had placed him with Grant late last year. "(It) was more a release for me, because I am engaged to a woman I have not been sexual with yet," Grant told police, according to an arrest warrant affidavit made public Tuesday in state Superior Court on White Street. "We are getting married in August of 2010, and I do not want to have sex before marriage," police quoted Grant as saying.
