Bemoaning the lack of late-night food options is a favorite Seattle pasttime, but now you may quit your bitching and go to Caffe Lieto down near Pike Place Market*. Tonight is the kickoff for Biscuit Bitch: $5 biscuits and sausage or shiitake mushroom gravy, henceforth available from 10 pm-2:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Biscuit Bitch is Lieto owner Rena Poppell and biscuit baker Kim Allen. Poppell describes the impetus behind the enterprise: "The only thing you can get around here late night is fucking nasty hot dogs—we decided to change all that and give the drunks some real food."

Biscuit Bitch comes recommended by some lawyer friend of Slog Senior Legal Analyst Bob Fikso. If it's not good, you can sue them.

*Or, for that matter, the Night Kitchen. What are we going to complain about now?
