Don't Forget: Slog Happy Is Tomorrow!

This month's Slog Happy is tomorrow night at Unicorn. The new Capitol Hill bar is in the old Satellite Lounge space (at 1118 E Pike), and it's been remodeled to look like like a dizzying circus-themed spectacle that features everything from a taxidermic warthog to a demonic Russian doll—and lots and lots of stripes. (Read Bethany's recent review of the space here.)

Paul Constant will be bringing a bagful of free books, I'll be giving away a pair of tickets to this weekend's Valentine's Bash, and you should bring your appetite. Their menu includes elephant ears, unicorn balls, and a popcorn flavor of the day. And, should circus food not be your thing, they also have a few more sophisticated items, like a fancy plate of "flaky cod with a golden-crisp truffle-oil sear, finished in parchment paper with tasty peas-'n'-mashed-potatoes."

See you tomorrow at 6 pm!

How can I pass it up? It's on a bee-line between work and home, with the theatre right around the corner!

Unicorn balls? So there are gelded unicorns running around somewhere? Do they still have that weird virgin fetish after they've been made into geldings?
