The funny thing is not just that he takes him self seriously. It's that a billion people out there probably think he is a very talented singer.

i never said he couldn't sing. i think it's funny what the person writing it down did with it.

What's going on here? Making fun of the way non-native speakers sing in English? How clever. At no place did I hear, "Rape me in my thighs", and the other "translations" were equally ludicrous. The time spent making this was wasted, as was the space devoted to it on SLOG. Racist and not funny. Now move on.

Of course he can't sing. The subtitles are what is racist. If this had been making fun of his gayness (and frankly, that guy does look quite nelly), there would be outrage.
