Housekeeping Slog Happy Is Thursday! At the Unicorn!

It's time for Slog Happy! And this month's installment will be at the Unicorn, the newest bar on Capitol Hill.
Haven't been to the Unicorn yet? Well it looks like this:

And in this week's Bar Exam, Bethany Jean Clement says this about the menu:
While the decor is entirely appetite-suppressant, the menu is only half a joke. The funny part: "Daily Popcorn" (maybe cinnamon-and-sugar, $3), elephant ears with "traditional garniture" ($4), unicorn-dogs (hand-dipped, injected with cream cheese, drizzled with sriracha, $5), unicorn balls (encased in way too much corn-dog batter, also clearly furthering the endangerment of the unicorn population: avoid, $6). Then there's beet salad ($8); flaky cod with a golden-crisp truffle-oil sear, finished in parchment paper with tasty peas-'n'-mashed-potatoes ($11); a bourguignon potpie with big chunks of winey beef ($12).
So lets go! This Thursday, February 11th, at 6 pm. We can split an elephant ear.

Scary Mary is charming and delightful and can carry a conversation. I've never met you, Mr. Ito, so I don't know if the same applies to you. But yes, if you're just looking for something to hit on, maybe Slog Happy isn't for you.
