If You Are Anywhere Near Port Townsend Any Time Soon...

Posted by on Mon, Feb 8, 2010 at 1:51 PM

...you should know that Ryan Boudinot has cached his first short story as part of his Found and Lost project somewhere in Fort Worden.

I have several more copies of Found and Lost: Juan to cache. My brother in Connecticut has offered to distribute some stories on the East coast, and I’ve gotten other offers to help from friends in Australia and the UK. The more I consider how this project is going to play out, the more I think I’m going to have to employ “mules” to distribute the stories worldwide.

If you find a copy of Juan , please send me an e-mail about the experience.

As a Port Townsend native, it makes me very proud to have a comment regarding my little town up on SLOG.

Unfortunately, I'm tucked away in the dungeon of a law-library and won't make it back home until March at the earliest. Stupid law schools takes all my stupid time up, STUPID!

I found Juan! What a surprise, to find an intriguing story in a Fort Worden Geocache, while visiting here in Port Townsend. The laminated booklet contains a story within a larger story and this 10-paragraph delight of inviting prose has me hooked for more. I'll do my part to send this story's installment off into the world as I take it home to a Northern California Geocache. Run, don't walk, and get your hands on one of these gems if there's one in a Geocache near you.
