So... Republicans Who Sign Anti-Tax Pledges Are Sheep Then?

Posted by on Fri, Feb 5, 2010 at 8:03 AM

This is the funniest damn campaign ad in the whole history of ever...

The music! The voiceover! Sheep on pedestals, sheep tumbling through space, madly chewing sheep, devil sheep... and you gotta love the stupid: "Leaving him only one way to fall..." Is there more than one way to fall? You fall down. You don't fall up or sideways, right? Unless you're a devil sheep with magical chewing powers, of course, in which case you can FLY! Anyway, watch the whole thing. It's hysterical.

My mind is bent. Carly Fiorina will stop at nothing.

It makes me hungry for gyros. And other forms of mutton.

I saw this ad on the local news last night on SF and laughed so hard about it and then thought 'Now what party is up to the same old tactics again' Then I did a spit take when I saw it was the GOP doing it against each other. Dog Eat Dog

Funny as fuck but geez, if I were American I'd want to vote for a guy who doesn't sign insane no-tax pledges. Tax hatred is cannibalism of democracy.

Now let's all keep an open mind about this. After all, don't we want the rest of the country to go the way of Colorado Springs?

The funniest thing to me was when they described Carly as an outsider who isn't a politician, and then called her a "proven fiscal conservative". If she's never held office before, how can she be a "proven" anything? (Well, anything that relates to her behavior in office, anyway.)

In my head I heard Dana Carvey's Church Lady saying, "Idn't that special?"

Better be careful about criticizing her. If she gets elected she might just merge California with Washington state and destroy both states while wiretapping your phones, and sending all of your jobs overseas

As a decline to state voter in California, I can vote in either the Republican primary or the Democratic primary. I'm voting in the Republican primary simply to vote against her.

I am surprised no one has noted the coded christian messages in the ad. She is trying to get the christian fundies to turn up for the primary.

Real Christians would be in Haiti, trying to steal the souls of supposed orphan children, anyway.

WTF!?!

I can't imagine this is an ad on television since it is way too long. It must just be for the internet.

Does anyone know?

If it is and this is how she's running her campaign, the past and future governor will surely be Jerry Brown.

I saw it synched up with Pink Floyd on some site or other. It's the campaign ad that keeps giving.

You could always fall over I suppose.
After that it just gets more figurative.

Are you sure this wasn't a spoof? Although I guess it is the GOP; they're basically a party of street schizos.

This has got to be satire. If this is not satire, Carly Fiorina has the worst gubernatorial campaign in history, is secretly trying to destroy the GOP, or needs to not hire her campaign staffers directly from a crack dealer's clientele.

@19: More like meth, I'd say. I swear I saw a spider or two in there!!!

Or if I didn't at least a few meth addicts did.
