Guerrilla art? Both of these were on Metro buses.

And people wonder why I don't like riding buses.

RCW 9A.36.011 refers to assault in the first degree. Our comedian has his citation right.

Alas, the typical profile of the piss redolent Metro rider involves urinating on oneself before boarding.

I couldn't find and RCW or WAC for the prohibition of public urination specifically. True, I didn't look very hard, but I demand my rights!

Failblog had a picture of a "Gang Rape Prohibited" sign from the 358 about a month ago.

I'm a fan of Stabbing Prohibited. The last thing I need after a long day at the Excel is getting shanked.

I can confirm "guerrilla art." The artist is a pretty talented guy.

More, I Say! 11
Awe, I love this! I've been thinking for years about what kind of helpful signs I might add to the metro bus....although honestly, my first pet peeve is those folks who take up the whole seat on a crowded bus....

An excellent genre of street art. This is one of my faves.

I emailed my mother a link to this story (she works for Metro), and this was her response:

"hahahaha! yes, those were fake. metro freaked out and had them removed, but i think they should have left them on the buses! by removing them, it tells me that urinating and stabbing are NOT against the rules!"

Who's the brilliant artist cause I say print more "no loud cell phone calls", "no paying your fare in pennies holding up the bus while you do so", "no treating the driver like they are your personal Google maps app, and holding up the bus to ask them for complicated directions", "no riding the bus when you stink, and have bad hygiene", I could go on and on with suggestions.
