Lunchtime Quickie: Nobody Looks at Porn at Work

Posted by on Wed, Feb 3, 2010 at 12:05 PM

No way. I mean who would do such a thing?! You especially wouldn't do it if you worked at a fancy-pants investment firm, nope, no sir.

Experts are predicting a rise.

Martin may not be expecting a "rise." But I bet someone is.

That person is so fired, he's fired from his next job.

I think the female news anchor saw the picture in the background. She appears trying not to smirk.

The best part is at 1:32 when the guy turns around and looks back at the camera.

Yes, the turn at the end is solid gold.

YouTube comments bring up the possibility that it was a series of emails a trusted person sent that fella timed to coincide with the broadcast, with the last one saying just, "look behind you." I hope that was it, that would be so wonderful.

Well, that's just brilliant, isn't it?

Kelly O,
Awesome absolutely awesome, whether staged or not. The anchor was indeed trying not to smirk.
Thanks.

@10, are you sure? Macquarie's HQ is in Sydney. Dunno where their trading floor is, though.

I realize what's going on, but I feel like GQ Magazine is being unfairly associated with pornography here.

Yes, it's inappropriate for work. Yes, a naked woman can be sexual, but do you think Miranda Kerr, a Victoria's Secret model, would agree that she 'does pornography' ?

According to one newspaper it was an email that he was sent from an outside broker firm, and on the last slide it said "turn around now." Interesting though that the newspapers publish the name of the guy caught on camera, but not the name of the broker firm who sent it. The guy on camera's name was David Kiely, a client adviser at Macquarie Bank.

my computer screen sucks. Do you actually get to see boobie?

In HD it's quite clear. No whole boobies, but definitely NSFW.

@Fnarf It's in Sydney; Macquarie's all Sydney. I sometimes doubt they even have a Victorian office.
