Ladies and Gentlemen, Your Next Spider-Man...

Posted by on Mon, Feb 1, 2010 at 1:25 PM

...could be Zac Efron. This probably makes Lindy West very happy, but it does not give me much hope for the Spider-Man reboot.

you're really running this as news? C'mon Paul. You're smarter than this.

Spiderman is a whiny little pussywhipped bitch. Efron will be perfect.

My spidey-sense is tingling already.

That would be great, if their audience is teenaged girls.

Next, Hollywood will do a re-reboot of the Star Trek reboot.

utterly pointless, and they'll probably reuse the same 3 villans.

You know, Efron was pretty good in 17 Again, which I saw on an airplane... because I'd feel like a perv going to see one of his movies at an actual theater.

And his mother—who pushed condoms on him—is a like cooler than Tim Tebowowhatever's mom.

There are only a few people they could cast that would make me want to see it. I'd hazard a guess that none of those people would ever be considered.

Just pull an actor's name from a hat, massacre the storyline, write bad dialogue and ship it to theaters, already.

The sooner it's over, the sooner they can get moving on MOTHERFUCKING DEADPOOL, BITCHES. YEEEEEEAH!

...sorry.

Zac Efron reminds me of David Cassidy.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I think that the Spiderman role should go to someone who doesn't wear false eyelashes and rouge at red carpet events.
