Posted by on Fri, Jan 29, 2010 at 8:55 AM

Economic News Officially Quite Confusing?: Grew faster than it has in six years last quarter.

'Democrats Confused': Ah, yeah. Full, actual story on The Daily Show ("Blues Clueless").

New Morning-After Pill: Works up to five days.

Tonight: The biggest, brightest full moon of 2010.

Nearly Half of WA Drivers: Said no to 5 measly bucks for state parks.

Gay Orthodox Rabbi: In Seattle through Saturday.

Um, Keep Your Breast Milk: Don't hurt Haiti with it.

Meanwhile: Medicines running out.

Tony Blair: Having to defend himself on Iraq/Bush lapdogism.

Bill Gates: $10 billion toward vaccines. Makes me want to buy a PC.

It Could Get Worse About John Edwards?: Apparently.

Is This Why They Call it Porking?: Argentinian president tells pig farmers barbecued pork led to highly satisfying weekend.

More on Chris Matthews's Moment: Of telling blackness-forgetting.

Here's a clip from the suicide bomber comedy that persons are enjoying at the current Sundance, called Four Lions:

John Edwards....

didn't the Democratic Party run him as a candidate for Vice-President or something?

True that the moon will be biggest this month, due to perigee, but I'm not sure why you said it'd be the brightest. Local effects like cloud cover and light- and air pollution aside, the sun doesn't get brighter right now, and sunlight is the thing that illuminates the moon.

Ha. When I went to the DoL for my tabs, the kind lady behind the counter told me that I had the option to pay an extra 5 bucks, but that I should know that my municipality already charges me 15 for parks. I was ready to pay the extra 5, but if they're already taking it from me, fuck 'em.

...and to think I have put Xs next to both Edwards' and Lieberman's names. I'm guess I'm not laughing so hard at Palin now.
Jesus...

Isn't anyone pissed at Young? I'm getting sick of these tell all later, rather than before books. I know he was in a difficult position, but we are talking President here, not City Council. And, if he didn't have the balls to bring it out when it mattered, he should keep the shit to himself.

Can't wait to see Four Lions...who said suicide bombers don't have a sense of humor?

I think what really happened is that Chris Matthews remembered he was white for a second.

I went to see Rabbi Greenberg, his talk was pretty amazing. He pretty much flattened all arguments against homosexuality (at least the ones that stem from those particular verses in Leviticus). Also, when's the next time I'm gonna hear a Rabbi say "anal rape" in synagogue?
