Woody Allen was a brilliant comedian and filmmaker for a while there. That wasn't the best scene, nor was that his best movie, but Love and Death is hilarious.

This cover has a quite nice portrait by reknowned egg tempera painter Robert Vickery. Yet no mention of this from the reviewer who covers the visual arts for the Stranger. I find this oddly sad.

Agreed Matt @1, but most of the visual comedy, particularly the battle scenes was lifted from Buster Keaton. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm just sayin'......
