Remember this stupidity?

Hannah Giles's partner (James O'Keefe) in the ACORN nonsense is now in big trouble:

O'Keefe and three others have been charged with tampering with the phone of system of the Democratic senator's New Orleans office. [The senator is Mary Landrieu.] They were arrested in the federal building after two of them allegedly impersonated telephone repairmen and tried to gain access to the senator's phone system, according to the FBI.
Republicans are trying distance themselves from the obnoxious criminal.
Today, Republicans are running away from O'Keefe.

* O'Keefe was supposed to be the keynote speaker at a Salt Lake County GOP fundraiser on Feb. 4. But county GOP Chairman Thomas Wright told the Salt Lake Tribune: "We'll be announcing a new speaker shortly."
* Rep. Pete Olson, R-Tex., is on the defense for introducing a resolution honoring O'Keefe for exposing ACORN. He told the Hill that he doesn't condone unlawful behavior, as On Deadline reported this morning. There were 31 cosponsors on that resolution, so you can expect Democratic challengers to use that resolution against their GOP opponents in this fall's midterm elections. Rep. John Kline, R-Minn., is identified here as a cosponsor of that resolution.

He is finished. Hannah Giles has lost her pimp. And ACORN has the last laugh.
The four men appeared in federal court Tuesday afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Louis Moore wearing red inmate jumpsuits from St. Bernard Parish Prison. They were charged with entering federal property under false pretenses with the intent of committing a felony, according to the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana. If convicted, the four would face sentences ranging from a fine to 10 years in prison.
