Yay! I love the Cane Toads video! As an undergrad it was shown each year in an Enviro-Sci class, and universally looked forward to by all.

Ooh ooh oooooh, can we ban lip syncing too? It's not like they can claim freedom of speech.

Halliburton profits down 48%, a fact that alone vindicates the results of the 2008 election.

I love Cane Toads too, but I think it is very much intentionally funny. Mark Lewis also did a movie calls Natural History of the Chicken, which is also very good.

Could the housing numbers be due to everything affordable already being snapped up? Last year I was thinking about buying, and it looks like I missed the boat, because there's now pretty much nothing less than $200k on the market.

@8 might be plenty of bargains in commercial real estate now. I took a drive around the north end of Lake Washington from Ravenna to downtown Kirkland this weekend and was shocked at all the boarded-up storefronts and former businesses for lease or sale (also an entire block of houses around Roosevelt High School)...

There was a point in time that you could get both of Mark Lewis' docs on PBS.org, or at least that's where I got them a few years ago.

I know it's bordering on pedantic, but copyright infringement isn't, strictly speaking, stealing. It's still wrong, but let's not foster the idea that it's on par with depriving someone of their physical property.
