Crime Raw Robbery

On the main page of The Oregonian:

Vancouver police are looking for armed robber who beat a woman at an ATM Sunday evening as she was making a bank deposit.

The robbery took place at a Bank of America ATM at 409 S.E. Chkalov Drive. A 49-year-old Clark County resident was making a deposit when the robber approached her from behind.

The poor woman was caught between raw robbery and lawful robbery, between the sudden and the system.

Fucking hell, Charles, haven't you ever heard of tact? The woman was BEATEN AND ROBBED. Perhaps a little compassion is in order, rather than snarky comments about how the ATM was also out to get her.
