No, that's the Democratic definition of insanity. It pisses me off royally that our supposed liberal President and Congress are such wimps.

It felt really good voting for an African American and I love to see his family in the WH but the guy is an awful president if you aren't a fat-cat wall streeter or own a pharmaceutical company.

It sounds like complete gridlock to me. Maybe we should just throw all the assholes out and start over.

You only need 50 Senators and a sitting VP to control the Senate.

All else is just sound and fury, signifying extreme wimpiness.

Our President has already made it clear that the he won't back down from anything, when it comes to the healthcare bill for example he has said that it will be passed as is, if MA goes wrong. That's important, once the bill becomes law, then we can work on the Senate, and the people will be the ones demanding it once they see the positive changes it makes in their lives.

Once the people keep on seeing that the repubs only have obstructionist ideas to bring to the table and no solutions, they will be voted out.

Time to revise the cloture rule and restore majority rule to the United States Senate.

The dems should propose some tax cuts for the wealthy and see what the republican response would be.

A cheaper solution would be to draft the children and grandchildren of all US millionaires and billionaires for the duration of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

With no exemptions. Even for age.
