The documentary Gogol bordello: Non-Stop opened at the Northwest Film Forum yesterday and plays through Thursday. You can read a review here:
God, I fucking hate “gypsy punk.” To me, it comes off as ham-fisted fusion, worse in combination than either punk or any of the varieties of Eastern European music that get flown under the “gypsy” banner are on their own.But it’s legally impossible in most countries to hate Gogol Bordello frontman Eugene Hutz.
