...what my drag name was.

For the most part, back when I went out in drag, I went out in drag as myself. The few times I went out to perform as a drag queen at Neighbours (sp?) or the Brass Connection—and not to MC or host something—my drag name was Helvetica Bold... when I had blond hair. When I had black hair my drag name was Futura Bold-Oblique. And while I did drag back in the day, I never earned the right to call myself a drag queen. The amazing and talented Zora, an honest-to-God drag queen, did my makeup for me. She would putty away my eyebrows and tell me what not to wear.

A few weeks ago someone in a comments thread on Slog called me an ugly drag queen. Evidence to the contrary after the jump.

That last picture is me and Kevin Kent and Kirby Genasci backstage at Re-bar during the run of Greek Active's Macbeth. I was filling in for one of the witches and had to do my own makeup. See why I needed Zora? I have a picture of me looking very sharp in a wedding dress somewhere that I'll dig up and post tomorrow.

How long do you think it will take for these pictures turn up on Americans for Truth?
