At this moment, this is the most shared story on BBC's website:
A survey of more than 1,000 men in India has concluded that condoms made according to international sizes are too large for a majority of Indian men.Why are people all over the world sharing this story so much? It seems innocuous (or innocent) enough. The study found that more than half of the men measured had penises that were shorter than international standards for condoms.
It has led to a call for condoms of mixed sizes to be made more widely available in India.
The way more amazing story concerns the undying popularity of the "invisible condom" in certain parts of black Africa:
Circumcision is a dangerous distraction in the fight against AIDS. There are six African countries where men are more likely to be HIV+ if they've been circumcised: Cameroon, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Rwanda, and Swaziland. Eg in Malawi, the HIV rate is 13.2% among circumcised men, but only 9.5% among intact men. In Rwanda, the HIV rate is 3.5% among circumcised men, but only 2.1% among intact men. If circumcision really worked against AIDS, this just wouldn't happen. We now have people calling circumcision a "vaccine" or "invisible condom", and viewing circumcision as an alternative to condoms.I'm certain Indian men would have no size problems if they used the invisible condom.
