China executed Akmal Shaikh, a British citizen, for drug smuggling. Shaikh, according to his supporters, was mentally ill, had suffered a breakdown, and suffered from delusions—he wrote letters to George Bush and Santa Claus, he tried to start an airline in Poland, he saw himself as a future pop star. Late in his life, Shaikh recorded "Come Little Rabbit":

Evidently, "Come Little Rabbit" was not insane enough for the Chinese government.
