Books Reading Today

At The Anne Bonny at 4 pm today, Ben Shepherd and Vanessa Fiola will read. Fiola is a writer from Los Angeles whose online writing is primarily about yoga. She also writes fiction. Shepherd, who was formerly in Soundgarden, will be reading new material. Shepherd will also be bringing a guitar along, which will probably result in music. And The Anne Bonney's own Spencer Moody will be reading, too. This looks like a very fine reading to wind down the year.

I was there, it was awesome. Spencer was fantastic, Ben Shepherd.....wow, and in between those two was a girl from Los Angeles, Vanessa Fiola, who glued it all together perfectly with some amazingly entertaining essays (I laughed, I cried). I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this event.
