Homo / News Gay White House Christmas Tree Ornaments!

Simon Doonan, the openly gay creative director of Barney's, was hired last month to decorate the White House for the holidays. Cue the wingnuts, who are now completely losing their shit because of a few ornaments Doonan hung on one of the White House's many Christmas trees. Adorning one of the ornaments is a signed photo from NYC drag star Hedda Lettuce, surrounded by rainbow flags. Another features a tiny replica of Andy Warhol's dragged-up portrait of Chairman Mao.

The haters have too much time on their hands. Let's really give 'em something to complain about by, I don't know, educating their children or providing health care for their families or protecting the nation's food supply or—hey!—let's take their guns away! More at JoeMyGod.

Dan is right about educating their children, and as I've always advocated one must volunteer in your local school to teach the little second graders (they learn so fast) about Broadway show tunes, color coordination and accessorizing, while not over doing it. Remember the Homo Agenda is about fabulous.

I for one see nothing wrong with the ornaments. There's nothing obscene or overtly indicative of homosexuality in them. Rainbows can mean many things, in fact way before organized homosexuals appropiated the image of rainbows for their parades and such it had a long history as a symbol of peace and identity for people in the Andes down in Latin America. An image of an imitator is just that, nobody who's not into that scene knows who that person is. The Mao image is simply ugly art and nothing more. So I really don't see anything offensive about them.

You really don't see any type of connection between a drag queen and a homosexual? It is obvious to anyone who is breathing, that the homosexuals have ruined the true meaning of the rainbow. The rainbow was God's promise to Noah that there would never again be a flood that completely covered the Earth. You know, the God who's Son Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas!!!
Christmas IS a religious holiday, and should not be soiled by disgusting individuals like Hedda Lettuce and Chinese dictator Mao Tse Tung!!

Of course, it makes a more dramatic post for there to be some ConservativeRight WingNuts attacking the Gays!(OMG!) so Dan can ride to the rescue so what's the harm in creating a little conflict and controversy?
