Another great film event tonight: The Frye is hosting Critics Wrap 2009, in which four local critics—including our own Andrew Wright—will give you the rundown on this year in film.

Admission is freeJoin us for the fifth annual celebration of the best and worst in the movie year with an illustrious panel of film critics sorting through the highs and lows of 2009.
Robert Horton (The Herald, KUOW-FM), film critic and host of the Frye Magic Lantern film program moderates a toast and roast of this year’s crop of movies. Special guests include Jim Emerson (scanners.com), Kathleen Murphy (MSN.com), and Andrew Wright (The Stranger). With select film clips.
(Now, I know for a fact that Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel hasn't screened here yet, so clearly the critical discussion will be incomplete. But I'm sure they'll do their best.)
