The Most Underreported Stories of 2009?

Posted by on Wed, Dec 16, 2009 at 11:58 AM

Along with a few others, I'll be on KUOW's The Conversation in a few minutes (for a few minutes) to offer my pick for the most underreported story of 2009.

That's 94.9 FM starting at noon. And if you want to tell me what I should pick, the comment thread awaits.

In 11 months Obama launched more Predator drone attacks on Pakistan (a nation we are not at war with...) than Bush did in 8 years.
Are you old enough to remember Nixon's secret undeclared war in Cambodia?

@3 - that's where the enemy is. He also launched drones on Yemen and should have launched drones on Saudi Arabia - cause al-Qaeda continues to get most of its funding and virtually all of its volunteers from those countries.
