Yet another formulaic, flat, disgusting application of high-fructose corn syrup to the blasted and undiscriminating palates of Americans is the best thing to happen in 2009?

Man. You must have had a pretty crappy year.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

#1, are you capable of anything other than self-loathing asshattery?

@6 That's an excellent question and excellent idea. I will find out in a few hours. If I had to guess, I'd say "Fucking wonderful."

@6, you put them in the freezer, duh.

Or, if you lived here, you could just open a window.

@10 That's also applied here for the last week or so.

Not one for the junk candy, but I did stop by See's Candies at Kent Station for a bag of Beverly's and other bon-bons yesterday...

@10, @11 -- well, if you idiots are dumb enough to have your windows open directly to the outdoors, well, then sure.

I've been enjoying the Junior Mints that they release at Christmastime that have crushed candy canes mixed with the chocolate shell. They don't really affect the taste, just add a nice little crunch. And they are fantastic frozen!

I really thought the title of your post said "Mega Junior Mints." So, "mini" was kind of a letdown after that...

holy fucking god i wish i wasn't diabetic.

ps - call me fat and show how ignorant you are, please. i've got some pent up anger, a nice type 2 versus type 1 rant would siphon that off quite nicely.

@17: York Peppermint Patties serve very nicely as giant Junior Mints, and they're mighty tasty frozen. So no need to be disappointed, Julie. Nommy!

I dunno...junior mints are already pretty small. why do we need even smaller, difficult to keep from slipping through you finger minty candies? I'd take peppermint patties over junior junior mints any day...

Junior Mints--are they the ones that are very refreshing?

Hey, remember those weird, gross coconut M&M's that didn't actually have any coconut in them? Now they have Almond Joy pieces (like Reece's Pieces, candy coated and all) that are like M&M's with actual, real coconutty goodness inside! Go fucking find some at QFC, peeps. I mean it.

Megan's not fat. She's actually really cute. But I still hate Junior Mints. Why not just mix up Karo and Crisco at home, add a drop of peppermint oil, dip the whole thing in candle wax, and call it Junior Mints?

Ahh! I have not been able to find these in any store in the Portland/Vancouver area! Megan, where'd you find them?
