Meredith Kercher

Posted by on Tue, Dec 8, 2009 at 8:58 AM

What we in America tend to forget (or try to ignore) is how beautiful Meredith Kercher was. I have never removed this beauty from the path that leads to her murder.

Is there some policy at the stranger that Mudede gets all the sex crime stories involving young women, and, if so, does that same policy state he has to act as lascivious as Roman Polanski at a Junior High?

...Is this somehow meant to say that it's partially her fault she's dead for being beautiful?

@2, no, it's that her murder is so much more tragic and meaningful because she was pretty. Dead ugly people aren't so important, or tragic.

Or, maybe not that it was more "tragic and meaningful" because she was pretty, but that after being identified as "the victim" for so long during such a dramatic court case, it's nice to stop and remember that she was a beautiful young woman.

Ugly people are in to way more important or valuable than 'pretty' people, but you can't argue that beauty isn't nice. Is noticing it a crime now?

So before she was guilty, Mudede is obsessed with how hot Amanda Knox is. Now that she's been convicted, he's obsessing over her victim.

CREEPY.

What we in America tend to forget is that how beautiful a young woman was has nothing to do with whether she was (1) murdered or (2) a murderer. Thank god Chaz doesn't try to remind us.

might have missed it, but maybe charles could once in a while actually summarize the evidence against Amanda......is it only this knife that doesn't match the wounds and that had only 9 cells of MK dna on it?

is there more?

yes we know it's difficult for CM to use things such as facts, rather then mephistelian, oops i mean hegelisn "logic" and such, but howsabout some facts once in a while mmmm? Other than facts like "her beauty is part of the path to her murder" I mean. I mean like facts like what is the evidence putting Amanda at the scene at the time and place....what is the evidence putting the murder weapon in her hands...and what is her motive beyond this silly "Amanda got madt at Meredith because Meredith wouldn't fuck Amanda's boyfriend."

I've never actually had a main squeeze quite that devoted to being my own wingchick, you know.

Also in the realm of fax: how's this all tie in with the guy they convicted, the guy we never hear about? What was he doing?

Oh nevermind, none of this is as improtant as gushing over female forms and beauty and writing about the "path" to her murder. Wow, that's a nice fact, that path. did it have signs on it saying "MURDER THIS WAY!"

I bet it intersected the Rue Morgue aussi. Wasn't there a Metro stop there too? I think it's called Gare d'Obsession Sans Fait et Sans Raison.......

Fatal beauty is always more compelling. It's human nature.

It really is creepy, because Mudede is creepy. The only comment he seems to make about women is in reference to their place in society, or whether they give him a boner, or both.

I'm sure "the african" remembers how beautiful she was. And probably so do the 2 kids rotting in jail for the next quarter century to cover up Italian incompetency, brutality and hysteria.

when's the movie coming out?

Perhaps the point being made is that Amanda Knox is being punished for living while her objectively more attractive friend was murdered.

Perhaps it's a cultural thing, akin to some attitudes towards a woman's place in society/the bedroom.

Looking forward to the same obsessive coverage when they get around to frying Clemmons - oh wait, never mind.

That is the first picture of the victim I ever recall seeing. Mudede's f'ed up comment aside, it does make the crime more real to me now. Not sure if Knox is innocent or guilty (who the hell really is besides her and bf?) but regardless an innocent young woman is dead and her family's world is forever changed .

By British standards she is--was--a knockout.

"I have never removed this beauty from the path that leads to her murder." Just what in the hell does that mean???

I don't think she was very pretty at all. Her sister is beautiful, on the other hand. On a third hand, how the hell do either of those things matter? Mudede, stop insinuating and hinting and just use your words.
