What She Said

Posted by on Mon, Nov 23, 2009 at 10:22 AM

In the old-timey sense of the phrase. Here is what Washington Senator Maria Cantwell said over the weekend as she made the case for real health care reform—and real health care cost cutting—in the senate. As usual, she brought charts!

In the end, the senate voted 60 to 39 to end the debate over whether to debate, and start in on some actual, make-or-break debating.

I wonder how much all those nice looking charts cost? Maybe the Senate should also look at driving down the cost for presentations on the floor.
It's always good to hear Senator Cantwell out there making sense as our representative, without any of the juvenile tactics of some of her colleagues.
