I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie had dozens of kids around the country. Long before the murders, his "Family" was a 24/7 fuckfest. When they lived in Dennis Wilson's house there was pretty much a writhing orgy in the living room, with the Beach Boys and other LA rock royalty contracting gonorrhea over and over from the filthy, freaky girls. God knows what Charlie got up to on his own time.

I have always wondered what happened to the children who were part of the Manson family, but I never thought about any who had no clue they had some connection to that mess.
I think Manson was our most recent lesson that any good message (in this case, peace love and hippy shit)can be co-opted by people with really bad intentions or just severe mental problems, and rendered evil or at least meaningless. Kind of like how the words of a man who was nailed to a cross just for saying we should treat each other better mutated into the Bush administration.
