Glenn Beckwatch: A Timely Polanski Reference

Posted by on Tue, Nov 17, 2009 at 12:36 PM

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Media Matters for watching every minute of every Glenn Beck show for us. That way, they catch moments like this, where Beck compares health care reform to raping an underage girl:

Keep it classy, GB.

Raping a young girl?!?!?

Much like how he raped and murdered a young lady in 1990? Interesting he used that description...very interesting.

But in the end we're all Roman Polanski?

What would it take to get the ATAS to nominate this show for a Primetime "Outstanding Comedy Series" Emmy?

Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Beck had no influence on the last election cycle, and the one before that. They tried to sandbag the Democratic nomination by having their listeners support Hillary, and it failed. They tried to nominate Huckabee instead of McCain and it failed. They tried to influence NY-23 and they elected a Democrat. These guys don't matter.

He makes the analogy and then he messes it up when he says "we are going to end up cowering in France." So is the American public a convicted pedophile? Or does he think that victims go to France?
Oh Mr. Beck, you are one confused man in need of intense professional help for your mental illness.

@1 You and I both don't believe that story. The chronology was reversed and you know it!

So does this mean that healthcare reform is more ethical than glenn beck. Follow my logic, if health care reform like polanski let the girl it raped decades ago live unlike this girl who glenn beck is accused of raping and murdering in 1990 then doesn't that mean Beck is worse than Polanski? I mean assuming it is true that he did it, which I assume it is since he has not denied it...
