Chow Free Lunch Tomorrow

A free lunch (of sorts) for carnivores/tuberivores: sirloin sliders (three to an order) and fries from the brand-new "Sip. at the wine bar & restaurant" downtown.
Sip. may be found adjacent to the main library at 909 5th Ave., and the freebies occur from noon to 1 p.m. tomorrow.
Sip. preexists in Issaquah and Gig Harbor. Sip.'s Seattle executive chef Cody Reaves has previously cooked in the kitchens of El Gaucho, Pacific Grill, and Sip. Issaquah.
Sip.'s motto is "Life’s fast. Sip slow."

That period in the name is awful. I'd avoid the restaurant on principle alone.

That is a horrible motto. It's either grammatically incorrect or implies they have terrible service.

I drove by that place today on my way into the office. It looks generic and I can only guess the food tastes generic. My guess is it's as mediocre as Purple, the other Eastside export currently peddling their over-priced food and wine in downtown Seattle.

There's a vegan restaurant in Fremont? The only place in Fremont that's kind of vegan is Flying Apron, but they're more gluten free/assy-tasting than vegan.

Also, this is a growing chain on the east side, not a small business. I believe this is their second or third location now.

This name goes up there with "Urbane." Its kind of patronizing. Like Seattle was just founded last year.

Silence Heart Nest is vegetarian/vegan. Which, with its awful name, creepy brainwashed hippie vibe, and nauseating paint scheme, explains why I have never set foot in the place.
