i like sarah as a person... even her bizarre view of her own lies and control issues surrounding her family... it's entertaining. i like the way she murders the english language trying to sound so proper. i respect her views on abortion, even though they're not even close to mine. i'm ok - with all of it.
what i'm SO not ok with, is her desire for political life. she's great with a baby, not so much with actually "knowin' stuff" our political leaders need to know in order to do the job they need to do.

It's kind of a brilliant name for a Down's baby in a kind of horribly insensitive kind of way. I mean, really, who names their child after it's disability? It's like naming your child with FAS Johnny Walker.

well apparantly they named Trig's middle name "Van" because Van Palin sounds sooo cool and "kick-ass" like Van Halen.

You know just because Obama sounds good, doesn't mean he is going to be good for us????????? Palin is a wonderful woman with all the qualities that we need in a leader. I think she's down to earth and the fact that she lives what she believes makes me believe in her. How strong of a woman she must be to have her son knowing he's going to need more attention because of his differences....and for the people who were so ugly as to talk about her beautiful child....shame on you! I'm sure you are ugly in and out and self loathing. It seems that people that are ugly on the inside usually end up showing it on the outside, from what I've seen. You would have to be to say such hateful remarks about an innocent baby.
