Who Are the Furries?

Is he getting fresh with her too?

Slog tipper Jubilation T. Cornball points out that the BBC has the answer. It's funny, I was just telling Dan Savage how the last time I was at Disneyland—as an adult—Winnie the Pooh grabbed my ass. I kind of liked it.

Oh no! Someone cast furries in a negative light! Because normally everybody fully loves and respects them.

Hey, every girl has a bunch on her bed. Granted, they don't have people inside, but that aside, they're adorable.

"A study by Ms Gerbasi at one furry convention found about a quarter of the participants did not consider themselves 100% human. "

Right - that's perfectly normal.

I love the furries, they are cool with who they are and probably much better as "people" than the shamed out christian Prejean freaks.

No, Pissy, furries are lower than Prejean. See the chart:

I can't believe you've missed a chance to use the headline "Hell Hath No Furrie."

Crap, is it spelled "furry"? Whatever.

So is it time to rekindle the centaur-fetish debate?

Personally, Dan, your squeamishness about a tongue-in-cheek-commercial-cum-fetish-provocateur is hilarious. I mean, anything that makes YOU squeamish has to be pretty....um... wild? (Then again, you're squeamish over vagoos and I can't agree with you any more.)

As long as people leave the kids and (actual) animals alone, let a couple of consenting adults have their wacky fun!

I got felt up by a furry at some Great America park outside Chicago. Not knowing if it was a male or female inside made me tingle.

@11: A resounding LOL. Well researched.

I didn't think the article cast us in a negative light. It was pretty fair, really. :3

I used to work at Disney World and just an FYI, pretty much all Chip and Dale (the real/original chipmunks) costumes at Disney have female castmembers inside. I learned that from a roommate who also worked @ Disney World as Goofy.

@10 - Ummm, Dan had nothing to do with this article. It was reported by Bethany Jean Clement on Slog and written by Denise Winterman on the BBC. Remember, it's "Read -> COMPREHEND -> Post". Might wanna work on that second step.

So you don't necessarily mind if someone grabs your ass? Duly noted.
