Housekeeping Slog Happy Is Tonight! Solo Has Power!

The Seattle Times is reporting that because of a small electrical fire, parts of lower Queen Anne are currently without power. But don't worry! Solo is all powered up and ready to roll for tonight's Slog Happy!

Solo is located at 200 Roy St, a few blocks north of the Seattle Center. Their happy hour starts at 5 pm and usually goes until 7 pm, but tonight they're extending it one extra hour just for us! They'll be serving $2 Rainiers, $3 wells, $4 housemade Sangria, and $5 specialty cocktails until 8 pm. They also recently unveiled a tasty looking new winter menu, so come hungry.

Slog Happy starts at 6 pm—I'll be there with books, candy, name tags, and free VIP Genius Awards passes.

I wanted to come this time, but probably won't make it as I'm occupied at work until at least 8 tonight and need to be back here at 7 tomorrow (oh the horror).

i MIGHT wear pants. might. i'll be the one all gassy from gorditos leftovers and smelling like an asshole cyclist

i didn't see anyone giving away anything. i drank several beers then rode off to Hooters Casino in South Park. i tried to get stabbed but no one was up to the task
