Carrie Prejean Plops Down On The View's Couch

Posted by on Wed, Nov 11, 2009 at 11:41 AM

"It's deplorable what happened to you," says Barbara, "on the other hand—it's the best thing that happened to you." My point exactly, Barbara.

Why is she still in the news? Aren't there more interesting famewhores out there to publicize? Even Sherri Sheperd has a bitch please look on her face in this video.

I'm really glad the flood watch is covering her face. Great graphics local television producer!

"you've been called a bitch . . . and your life has been threatened" Is there no way for her to block Bill O'Reilly loufah calls? She's still confused about the 1st amendment. Won't stop her from being the Fox News expert on it. Could she really sue a pagent for religious discrimination, is that a contracts claim?

I doubt this has been the 'best thing' that has happen to her. But i do believe that in the middle of all these attacks if she wasn't so quick on her feet she would've been cannibalized already by now. So she is doing the BEST that she can under these circumstances. Good for her.

Her stupidity is astounding. Everytime she creeps back from under her rock I am amused. I hope she never goes away (let her be like Elizabeth Taylor around for us to enjoy for years).

No state has EVER legalized "Same Sex Marriage". They've legalized marriage for ALL state citizens. Words DO matter.

She's such a hypocrite.

And her book is almost as thin and substance-free as she is.

She still can't answer a question. And, comes across as way too defensive, she doth protest too much.

Funny how Ms. RI's sexy photos did not cause her problems with her contact. Why? Because, she disclosed them when she signed. Perhaps, Ms. CA should have shown the same honesty? It seems I read somewhere that honesty was a Christian virtue. Loveschild?

Carrie is being Palinized, as all strong Christian conservative women will be. Any minority who doesn't toe the liberal line, male or female, will be excoriated. It's deplorable, and thankfully we have Foxnews and talk radio to expose it when it happens.

Give 'em hell Carrie!

Hey, Lord Parsley, do "all strong Christian conservative women" finger themselves on camera before they go on lengthy speeches about purity? Just checking...

Also: Barbara has amazing gams!

What message does this send? Maybe I should become more conservative.

@21 if she wasn't conventional looking, what other quality would she bring?

when you are self-absorbed, stupid, hateful, lazy, and common, you won't be hired for your skills. (pretty) women with brains, skills, and compassion, don't generally want to sit on a couch and talk about themselves for a living.

I still fail to see "what happend" to Prejean as such a horrendous affair. So she was called a "bitch" and a "slut" and other names. So what? Hilary Clinton has been called worse as has Condoleezza Rice, Sarah Palin, and countless other women. But what do all of these women have in common, they put themselves in a position to be criticized and name-called. The entire excuse of it being unfair that she is criticized for being a good christian is just as ridiculous as throwing mud and then being upset when some lands back on your pretty white dress. I don't know of many people yelling at her for being a christian, they are criticizing her for being a hypocrite and bigot.

She choose (and that is an important part of the argument) to be part of an organization based on superficial attributes and talents, an organization which may or not have suggested she get breast implants which she willingly went along with. If her morals were so high then she would have declined the offer to have them installed and could have brought that fight to the news. Instead she choose to get the implants, she choose to pose semi-nude for a photographer, she choose to push the record button on a video-camera and record herself masturbating. She choose all of these things so she can live with the backlash. If people were attacking her because she was a christian and not because of the hypocrisy that would be another thing entirely. She wants her freedom of speech for her bigoted views, well she must accept the freedom of speech from those who wish to call her names in return.

All the women seemed to agree "No one should be punished for saying what they belive." Uh, really? Funny cause if you say something "you believe" about any ethnic or religious group that is derogatory your reputation is ruined. I can think of dozens of people who have been "punished" for saying what they believe when it comes to race.

@23 no offense, but in what sense is she "common"?

Maybe in LA? Certainly not here in the pacific northwest.

She's so hung up on being "attacked for expressing her opinion." Someone needs to explain to her that there is a difference between expressing that you like country music, for instance, and saying that you believe other human beings should not have the same civil rights as you do. She seems to think you can be as hurtful and bigoted as you want and not have anyone react.

She's terribly hypocritical, defensive, artificial and vapid, though, so I'm not sure she'd understand the difference.

She has the right to her opinion, absolutely.
But she's a stupid fucking hypocrite. Because, yes, "good Christians" film themselves masturbating at 17 and send it to their 17 year old boyfriends. That's a sin, Carrie, that's a sin!

Ugh... fucking Christians.

She gave her opinion about same-sex marriage. That opinion was a slap in the face of the entire pageant industry. It was also a mistaken opinion, since she does not, as she claimed, live in a country where people have a choice between same-sex and "opposite" marriage. Possibly people wouldn't have thought she was so stupid if she'd managed at least to get her facts straight.

But the subsequent problems with the Miss California pageant and with her public image were more about her lying and violating the morals clause of her contract (in the case of the former), and allying herself with rabidly anti-gay organizations (in the case of the latter) and, in general, adopting an utterly unjustified victim position.

Nobody violated Prejean's right to free speech, as she is so fond of claiming. First, as her place of employment, the pageant did not give her the right to "free speech." Second, she wasn't jailed for what she says, which is essentially what freedom of speech guarantees in America. Third, she seems to believe, passionately, that "freedom of speech" only guarantees her right to say what she wants about gay people and liberals, but does not extend to the right of other people to say what they think about *her*. She's a moron. She doesn't have a single original thought or interesting thing to say. I guess she's attractive, if you like that sort of thing, but really that's the only thing she's got going for her. At 21, she's already known as "that girl who posed naked, made a video of herself masturbating, and got a boob job." Wait... aspiring starlet/whore or Christian crusader?

Who the flock cares?

In the age of powerful women such as Gregoire and Clinton why are there still beauty pageants?

Also, in this day and age, why are there stupid shows like "The View" on? And who watches them?

Most women now work. The only people watching these shows are seniors with nothing better to do.

I know you hate her Dan but seriously, she is so irrelevant in the real world.

And as for her masturbation tape: who cares? So she masturbated for a boyfriend. That's cool. We should all masturbate for our partner's.

It was dumb of her to allow herself to be taped, especially if she planned to pursue a modeling career.

So she's dumb as a brick. Why does anyone care what she has to say?

I just don't understand most American's. Of course I also don't have cable and I don't watch television so I suppose I'm weird or something.

Another question:

Why would anyone watch Oprah? Or read a magazine that has the same person on the cover every single month?

What a fucking ego!

Down with Oprah. Down with all daytime television.

Whoopi reminds me of Colmes on Hannity and Colmes (albeit, I do not watch Fox News, I just know the jist of that show). No backbone, whatsoever. Prejean is a fucking idiot, and someone really needs to call her on her shit.

The whole idea of allowing free speech, is that it will allow the sharing of ideas. It will allow people to be exposed to different opinions, and the premise is that people will believe ideas that garnish the most support and evidence. In a world where we allow ideas to fluorish, stupid ideas will be quashed. Ideally it will allow for a more intelligent society. The whole argument FOR free speech is that, if somebody voices a dumb opinion, than others around that person (being intelligent people, having been exposed to numerous other ideas) will use their own freedom of speech, and condemn that person's opinion. Therefore, free speech (in an ideal, though not totally realistic world) also has the power to annihilate harmful opinions.

That is the whole process of free speech, and why there should be free speech. Prejean opposes that process, because she believes others should not have the right to oppose her opinions. She is too stupid to realize this, however. Also, I have said this a million times: while everyone has a right to an opinion, that does NOT imply that all opinions are equal.

Oh, and one last thing: you apparently do not fuck with Perez Hilton. Even though I hate that guy (hahaha, Will.I.Am, boom-boom-POW).

"We can all have our own opinion."

Since when did 1st Amendment Rights protect you from scrutiny? Or being disagreed with by many people? Or being called a ho by gays sick of getting their rights trampled on?

And don't they ask those Ms. America questions to ascertain character? Some lip-service idea of "beautiful inside and out"? If she answered in a way that struck the judges as inappropriate then they're only conforming to the game of the pageant.

There is the sick, stupid idea widespread in this country that disagreeing with someone, or someone losing a professional opportunity because of what they've expressed is degrading their rights. Not so.

Just a note: I was watching an interview recently where one of the pageant officials declared that they know "for a fact" Prejean was not 17 y/o in on the "tape".

The "PreCarrie Defensive Tour" is in full effect. This slut is so defensive and rude. She never allowed anyone to finishing their question or their point as her guilt had her riding the defensive train to hell. No Carrie, no one is attacking you for voicing your opinion.......you disgust people because "you lie, you lie". For those hung up on fake blonde hair and blue eyes with rubberballs as a criteria for beauty, your welcome to your stance, just quit trying to force it on those of us who think just the opposite........she is about as beautiful as used Charmin after a bout with the runs.
