As I recall it was a big joke that there was a "gathering storm" and haha wasn't them silly right wingers nuts. Seems they're winning at this point in time in the marriage equality slap down. Each civil rights lose brings out the Bitchy bitter olde Queen in Gay America with never a suggestion of doing things differently.

They should be learning some lessons from our experience as well. I think the American people do believe in fairness and yes on R-71 is proof.

And as Portugal prepares to step into the 21st century, by legalizing equal marriage, the U.S. digs in for another 20 years or so of trying to turn the clock back on civil rights.

This whole issue has made me appreciate being Canadian so much more. 6 years of gay marriage, and our society still hasn't collapsed. God Blesses Canada.
