Why do I still get the feeling that Mallahan is a Republican Manchurian candidate? The guy just reeks corporate interests. Even the missing tie is waaaaay too conspicuous. Its like one of his PR reps told him to ditch the tie so he doesn't look so much like a Republican.

Why do rich people want to be in politics...it doesn't make any sense to me.

I mean, if you've made 300 million dollars and live in a nice place in Seattle, then you've got it made. You don't have to do anything else. Go the mountains. Go skiing. Rent a house on Whidbey during the summer.

Just leave the hoi-polloi to theyselves...

What do you call that? His voice and vocal tics? Its sort of a mush mouth thing coupled with a whine. Its like a toned down version of the priest from the Prince's Bride.
