Well, Slog tipper Mark informs us that the arbitration panel has ruled in favor of Glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com. Beck decisively lost the arbitration.
WIPO's arbitration panel agreed that the website appeared "to be engaged in a parody of the style or methodology that (Eiland-Hall) appears genuinely to believe is employed by (Beck) in the provision of political commentary, and for that reason (Eiland-Hall) can be said to be making a political statement."
In a (PDF) letter, Eiland-Hall then gave Glenn Beck the username and password to the website, which is now inactive. The letter is very much worth reading, but here is the gist:
It is worth noting that Beck has never once answered the question raised by the satirical website.

Well, there must be something to it! Why doesn't he just answer the question? You know who else didn't answer questions? Hitler! Maybe he's in on it with Glenn Beck! I've never heard Glenn Beck deny that, have you? Sure is suspicious, that's all I'm saying.

It's unfortunate that the website is no longer active, because now there's no American brave enough to challenge Glenn Beck. Questions remain.

if you haven't seen John Stewart's imitation/demolition of Beck (and his appendectomy) from last week, search it out. it was a phenomenal performance.

The existence of this web site is a fantastic and life-affirming thing. Go satire! And their win against Beck = truly FTW!

Are you guys joking, or really that stupid. First of all he did not do that and for all you glen haters do you actually watch his show,he presents you with the information for his conclusions and lets you make up your mind based on videos and actual quotes, thats alot more then i see from the left.

Actually, Isaac Eiland-Hall called News Corporation to apologize, and when they promised to investigate his website and name his ownership and lampooning of child rape, Isaac Eiland-Hall, the owner of that smear, gave up the password and confessed that the charge isn't true in public.
I realize he's claiming victory, for whatever reason, but libel is not protected under the first amendment. This is well established. Don't misreport the news. Isaac Eiland-Hall has no assets of value, and taking him to court for libel would only boost his smear campaign. He didn't win... he just wasn't worth fighting. But yet, it's heartening that shame for to Isaac Eiland-Hall, and he apologized to Beck's representatives and gave up the website he fought so hard to keep. It's a shame he has lately backtracked, but we still know your name, Isaac, and no one is ever going to take your opinion seriously.
I don't even like Beck's program. too emotional for me. But Beck never did anything as sick as Isaac Eiland-Hall making light of rape and trying to intimidate free criticism of Barack Obama. We have a first amendment so that we can criticize our government like Beck does. Not so we can lie about people we disagree with, to intimidate them into silence.
