That last photo is kind of creepy. What was the need of those guys?

OMG, who's guarding Canada??!

But seriously, I hope the service brings some comfort to those that new Officer Brenton. No one deserves to go out like that and the killer needs to be served some justice.

@3 I dunno, maybe the fact that there is still a killer on the loose who has a hard on for killing cops? And there's a whole hell of a lot of them all in one place?

I watched the procession of police cars from Husky Stadium. It was pretty awe-inspiring. Oddly, at least one-fourth of SPD cops were not buckled up.

I also watched some of the funeral on tv. I personally, if I were the wife, would be exhausted. That's a long day and a long funeral. I had no idea it was that complicated. The personal speakers, his colleagues, were very good.

Rest in peace, Officer Brenton.

@5 what the killer did was a cowardly act, driving up and firing on 1000 police officers is a much more desperate act, but at the same time it's much bolder.

@1 - That was my first thought too! I had to look at twice at the cop facing him to make sure it wasn't another cast member.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.

I attended the ceremony. It was amazing. I recommend to those who wants to know a little more about who Officer Brenton was to seek the remembrances of Officer Ehring and Officer Schubeck.

I just saw a Medford (Oregon) police car heading out of town on I-5. Wow. That's a long haul.
RIP, Office Brenton.
