...courtesy of JoeMyGod: Carrie Prejean has withdrawn her million-dollar lawsuit against Miss California USA because there's this XXX sex tape she'd rather not see released.

The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career. We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing. As we first reported, the Pageant is paying around $100,000 to her lawyers and publicist—a fraction of her bills. She pockets nothing in the settlement.

Says Joe: "Hey Maggie Gallagher! Did I just hear your tires squealing? Since, as you say, God was speaking directly to Carrie during her anti-gay pageant answer, what was he saying during her double-penetration scene? I kid, I kid. I only HOPE there's a double-penetration scene!"

Maybe they are still waiting for Carrie to get back to them about "bonus features" they wanted to include on the DVD? At -least- an alternative audio track.

The TMZ item notes Prejean's "handiwork" in the vid, as well as her "promising solo career"....50 bucks says it's Carrie Prejean jilling-off for a webcam.

I can't understand the minds of these people. These anti-gay politicians and public figures know that they engage in the very behavior that they are campaigning and creating their entire personas around. Do they have some sort of amnesia or something? The sex tape will come out, but you know all she has to do is say the magic words and all will be forgiven. She'll have a press conference and then she'll say, "I talked to Jesus and he forgave me. I just hope you all can follow his example and forgive me, too." And they will. But yes, I feel better.

@20: One of the Miss California rules is that the contestant must not have been in a pornographic work, iirc.

So it's less Blackmail and more 'yup, either way you broke the rules repeatedly, so you have no case'

These anti-gay politicians and public figures know that they engage in the very behavior that they are campaigning and creating their entire personas around.

And that's why they're so obsessed with the sex lives of everyone else--they feel guilty and the only way to deal with it is to project their self-loathing on to others. But bear in mind that what matters to these people is that Prejean talks to the talk, and therefore doesn't need to walk the walk. The fact that she says the right things means that the likes of Maggie Gallagher and Loveschild will automatically come to her defense no matter what she does.
