Election Same Room, Different Candidate

Maybe there's something to this "non-partisan" business in the King County exec's race after all. The Stranger Election Control Board distinctly remembers being here at the Edgewater, here on the fourth floor, here in this same room looking at this same spread of food almost exactly three months ago.
For the Aug. 18 primary.
Except back then the candidate using the room was Susan Hutchison. Tonight it's Dow Constantine. Don't look at the food or you'll be confused. Look at the placard, sip your drink calmly, and remember: time only moves forward.
